I repeat, WHITE STUFF CAME OUT OF THE SKY!!! This is a very strange occurrence but nobody else seemed bothered so I decided to allow it to continue coming out of the sky, but only after barking at it through the window for a solid 10 minutes on Friday morning.</p> <p>I don’t like being cold, so when we went out to see what was going on Harvey loaned me his special coat and I wore it underneath my security uniform. I was very brave and went out into the white stuff, I had a good sniff and it didn’t seem dangerous - the only logical thing left to do was start to play! </p> <p>It was such great fun, Harvey was running around like a mad dog, and I was on my super long lead so I could play too. It’s important that I have my lead when we go to new places so that my human doesn’t get lost. He needs me to find his way home and Harvey and I don’t have time to go looking for him if he wanders off! </p> <p>I also spent quite a while monitoring the comings and goings of the local young human population, several of them had been spotted from the front window throwing the previously mentioned white stuff at each other. I don’t know about you guys but I can’t be having any of that going on outside my house! The big human packed a bag with my spare collar and lead, the spare water bowl and a few other bits, then just when I thought he was going to put me in the car, he drove off without me! I was not amused at all, and I was a bit anxious so I tried to get on my Mums lap and was chewing on her dressing gown because I thought I had done something wrong. </p> <p>It turns out though that I didn’t need to worry - the big human came back after a few hours with the best present ever, a mini version of me! First Mum got my special harness on and we walked to the abandoned playpark, there she was sat with the big human on the other side of the fence. I was VERY excited and was desperate to get in and play with them both. First we walked in circles, then we walked beside each other, then we walked around my security patrol route together. I was in LOVE, she was beautiful and she liked me too I think. </p> <p>I went back to the house for a bit while Harvey went to meet her as well, then we all went for a long walk with one of the small humans as well. It was great fun and I got to walk really close to her as I was a good boy. I showed her all the good places to pee, and where Harvey and I had solved all the crimes in the village since he took me on as his apprentice. Harvey walked slightly behind keeping an eye on the situation just in case anyone needed backup!</p> <p>We went back home and had the best playtime ever, even Harvey got involved. We played face wrestling and sofa wars and ran backwards and forwards through the house until we all collapsed into a big heap. I got lots of thumbs shown to me which only happens when I am a good boy so I think I did OK. The small humans had so many presents to open and I got a special dinner with the same meat that the humans had. It was brilliant. </p> <p>The best bit was that all of the humans were on holiday from work, so everyone was around all the time. It was great to see some of my old friends and make lots of new ones. We played games, I had lots of fuss and treats, and I had to wear a costume. My Mum dressed me up as a snowman but I didn’t win any prizes :( I liked my hat though and I still wear it every now and again just for fun.  </p> <p>I also fell in love today with a lady dog called Sasha. She was sooo pretty and I spent lots of time trying to drag my human over to see her! We drove to a place with a crazy name! Piddletrenthide! When we got there it was very late at night, I did a quick search of the big house that we were staying in and could smell lots of people but I had to say goodnight before I could find everyone. </p> <p>I didn’t sleep very well as I was in a strange place but luckily Harvey was there to look after me. Early in the morning I was hungry so I called the big human with my morning alarm noise. He came down looking very sleepy and we went for a walk around the gardens and fields nearby. We were in the middle of nowhere with lots of space for me to run around on my super long training lead! </p> <p>We went back for breakfast and I found all of the people I could smell, the rest of the big human’s family we staying in the house with us, and a lady with a big moving tummy was there too. I liked her very much and spent a lot of time sneaking on to the sofa to sit with my head on her tummy. It was very relaxing :) </p> <p>We went on lots of walks in the countryside and to the beach, and did loads of exploring! The house had a pool in the garden and even though it was cold outside the humans were all in it every day. Harvey and I don’t like swimming but we had important work to do anyway, we were being lifeguards again - our favourite job. We were also in charge of garden security, lots of other dogs passed through the garden and it was our job to make sure that they didn’t stick around. I was VERY good at this job, making sure they were all kept in order and that there was no funny business going on! </p> <p>I also changed my dinners while I was on this holiday - I was bored of chicken and it was making my skin itchy so Harvey and I tried out some fishy dinners. We both tried it and we liked it so much that we switched over for good. </p> <p>The holiday was brilliant fun and I got to hang out with the small humans and go on lots of special walks. Today I went to see Auntie Sharon and all the other HCBW team for a special party. I met lots of other dogs and had lots of fishy and meaty treats. We got up VERY early and packed all of my favourite things in the car, laid my bed out in the back and then all went off on a big journey. I was asleep the whole way and the big human had to wake me up to go for a comfort break! </p> <p>We arrived at a special field full of other dogs! I was sooo excited! The place was called “Paws in the Park” and I had never seen so many other dogs in one field before! The nice ladies in the Deaf Dog Network tent gave me lots of fishy treats and a green bandana to wear, and I was ready to work. I spent the whole day showing off how good I can be for my humans and telling everyone about DDN and Home Counties Boxer Welfare and how good they are, and how there are lots more boxers like me that need homes out there.</p> <p>I even took the big human into the indoor arena where lots of people were watching me show off all the signs that I have taught the big human. I had so much fun I also did another demonstration in the afternoon! We don’t know that many tricks so for our party piece when the lady was talking about me I did my best ever trick, I jumped up into the big humans arms and all the ladies in the crowd clapped a lot and smiled.</p> <p>I had so much fun, even though it rained ALL DAY and I was soaked through, but it was worth it as I made lots of new friends and met some of my best internet friends in the flesh as well. I spent all day in the garden playing with Harvey and relaxing. Harvey has to go inside quite often as he doesn’t like the heat but because I am white it doesn’t bother me so much. My Mum put lots of special cream on my head to stop the sun from burning me, and super strong cream on my scars where I have no fur! </p> <p>One of my other friends came to play in the garden as well today, Blossom the bunny was in her run for a bit. They put my bed, all my toys and my dinners into the big car and then just when I thought they were going out … they put my harness on me and I went to the car as well! Harvey was so excited that he jumped into the car (he usually has to be picked up!). We went on a long journey, so long we had to have a couple of breaks on the way. Eventually we got to our destination - somewhere called The Cotswolds? </p> <p>I’d never heard of this place before (or anything else as my ears don’t work, but you know what I mean?) but I liked it very much. It was very exciting as there were lots of fields and places to walk, and my favourite type of pubs with benches outside for dogs to sit with the humans. We went for a whole week, driving around, walking through towns and meeting lots and lots of people. In the evenings we had nice dinners and watched a LOT of olympics on the TV. </p> <p>I made so many new friends, and loads of humans came and talked to me and I got loads of kisses and cuddles. One day when we were walking to the fields to go on a day out, a man came running down the road after us. He had a dog that looked just like Harvey - his name was Mr. Biggles and he was really nice! The small human had a party for his birthday and I got to run around and play with all the boys that came along for the day! They all went in the swimming pool and I chased around the edge helping Harvey to be a lifeguard and make sure that everyone was OK.
