Day Eight - 07.04.2012
I met a new lady today, she had a special room that smelled of lots of animals and she looked at my head and gave me a treat. I didn’t really understand what was going on, but I sat very still when she looked at me, and then she gave me a treat! I like her now - I got so excited I did a little wee on the floor - how embarrassing :(
When I came back Harvey was pacing up and down the garden waiting for me to get back, obviously the humans had not thought to keep him informed that I was going out and he was not amused. He gave me a good sniff when I got home to make sure I was OK, and then we had a really good play in the garden together.
The big human cleaned my head with the stuff from the lady with the special room, it smelled a bit funny but it didn’t hurt too much so I let him do it. After a quick cuddle on the sofa to check he was OK we settled down for a snooze while watching the men chase the ball around on TV.
Later on another big human came over to visit us and Harvey and I took it in turns to get on the sofa and jump on him. He wasn’t too sure if he liked Boxers or not, so we did our best to persuade him by showing him all the stuff we can do like running, jumping, slobbering, cuddling and even a bit of wrestling. We played some tug of war and then we were so tired we passed out on the floor and only woke up when the big human put us out for our bedtime wee.
