Day 295 - 20.01.2013

White stuff came out of the sky! I repeat, WHITE STUFF CAME OUT OF THE SKY!!! This is a very strange occurrence but nobody else seemed bothered so I decided to allow it to continue coming out of the sky, but only after barking at it through the window for a solid 10 minutes on Friday morning.

I don’t like being cold, so when we went out to see what was going on Harvey loaned me his special coat and I wore it underneath my security uniform. I was very brave and went out into the white stuff, I had a good sniff and it didn’t seem dangerous - the only logical thing left to do was start to play! 

It was such great fun, Harvey was running around like a mad dog, and I was on my super long lead so I could play too. It’s important that I have my lead when we go to new places so that my human doesn’t get lost. He needs me to find his way home and Harvey and I don’t have time to go looking for him if he wanders off! 

I also spent quite a while monitoring the comings and goings of the local young human population, several of them had been spotted from the front window throwing the previously mentioned white stuff at each other. I don’t know about you guys but I can’t be having any of that going on outside my house! I watched them very carefully until they went, in fact, I may even have given them my best icy stare! 

Day 287 - 12.01.2013 Today was the best day ever! The big human packed a bag with my spare collar and lead, the spare water bowl and a few other bits, then just when I thought he was going to put me in the car, he drove off without me! I was not amused at all, and I was a bit anxious so I tried to get on my Mums lap and was chewing on her dressing gown because I thought I had done something wrong.  It turns out though that I didn’t need to worry - the big human came back after a few hours with the best present ever, a mini version of me! First Mum got my special harness on and we walked to the abandoned playpark, there she was sat with the big human on the other side of the fence. I was VERY excited and was desperate to get in and play with them both. First we walked in circles, then we walked beside each other, then we walked around my security patrol route together. I was in LOVE, she was beautiful and she liked me too I think.  I went back to the house for a bit while Harvey went to meet her as well, then we all went for a long walk with one of the small humans as well. It was great fun and I got to walk really close to her as I was a good boy. I showed her all the good places to pee, and where Harvey and I had solved all the crimes in the village since he took me on as his apprentice. Harvey walked slightly behind keeping an eye on the situation just in case anyone needed backup! We went back home and had the best playtime ever, even Harvey got involved. We played face wrestling and sofa wars and ran backwards and forwards through the house until we all collapsed into a big heap. I got lots of thumbs shown to me which only happens when I am a good boy so I think I did OK. My new friend had to go to her new house, just like I did when I moved to the village, so the big human and Mum took her in the car off to meet her new family. I hope she comes back soon so I can show her all my wrestling moves!

Day 269 - 25.12.2012

My first Christmas day in my new home - a very exciting day with lots of people coming and going from the house. The small humans had so many presents to open and I got a special dinner with the same meat that the humans had. It was brilliant. 

The best bit was that all of the humans were on holiday from work, so everyone was around all the time. I love having everyone at home :)

The only thing I wasn’t so sure about was our Christmas photoshoot - I don’t really like the santa hat, it’s not as nice as my snowman hat :(  

Day 253 - 09.12.2012

Off in the car again today and off to one of my favourite places for the Home Counties Boxer Welfare Christmas Party. It was great to see some of my old friends and make lots of new ones. We played games, I had lots of fuss and treats, and I had to wear a costume. My Mum dressed me up as a snowman but I didn’t win any prizes :( I liked my hat though and I still wear it every now and again just for fun.  

I also fell in love today with a lady dog called Sasha. She was sooo pretty and I spent lots of time trying to drag my human over to see her! A nice lady came around with a box and gave me some sausage, I liked her a lot too!
